Tourism continues to be the biggest industry in Hawaii. As a result, the Sustainable Hospitality & Tourism Management (SHTM) Program of Study is designed to prepare students for entry-level employment in the travel and tourism industry with an emphasis on hotel and restaurant management, event planning, marketing, and environmental issues related to leisure and travel in Hawaii. The program will also examine current and future trends in the field.
