HEART Time

(2017-2018 School Year)  We continued our partnership with the Hawaiian Humane Society! The HHS requested that we create cage covers with flaps. We sewed using a sewing machine.

(2016-2017 School Year)  We partnered with the Hawaiian Humane Society and created covers for cat cages. Agena Sensei taught the students how to use a sewing machine.

(2015-2016 School Year)  Agena Sensei started a group entitled "Sew Simple." They made toys for the animals at the Humane Society.

(2014-2015 School Year) Yuko Sensei was in charge of a group entitled "Sharing the Japanese Culture."  They researched and cooked Japanese food, Okonomi-yaki. They shared the recipe with others.
