The Academies of 'Aiea High School create smaller learning communities and provide real-world, authentic experiences preparing students for their futures. From their Freshman year students choose from one of two academies: the Academy of Aspiring Professionals or the Academy of Innovation and begin a hands-on Career & Technical Education (CTE) program of study of their interest. In each Academy, students take general education courses including: English, Math, Science and Social Studies along with their thematic CTE program of study and global electives.
