The Office of Curriculum and Instructional Design, Library Media Services will host a two-day statewide school library conference, "Ignite the imagination. Fuel the future." on Thursday, August 8, 2024 and Friday, August 9, 2024 from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm at the Prince Waikiki Hotel. The conference is open to Hawaii Department of Education (HIDOE) school library staff, teachers, and administrators.
This conference aims to explore how we can ignite the imagination of young minds and fuel their journey towards a brighter future through innovative practices and transformative experiences within school libraries.
Join us in igniting imaginations, shaping futures, and reimagining the possibilities of school libraries as catalysts for transformational education.
School library professional development is aligned to the American Association for School Librarians (AASL) 2017 National School Library Standards and Future Ready Librarians Framework.
