The North Central Plains is really good place to farm in. In the North Central Plains there is fertile soil, allowing you to grow many different types of crops. This is good for the environment so the people that live here can get food. During the summer there are tornadoes. There are tornadoes because there are droughts making it so dry causing a tornado to form. Also, the Noth Central Plains is part of tornado alley where lots of tornadoes can occur.
Climate
The climate is very weird in the North Central Plains. There are cold winters and hot summers. This is called Humid-subtropical climate. Because the weather is like this there can be a drought in the summer, and in the winter, there won't be a drought. The climate in the North Central Plains effects a lot of people because its so hot causing people to be dehydrated.

Coronado
Coronado was an explorer who explored The North Central Plains and The Great Plains. He crossed the Texas Panhandle and the Llano Estacado. Just like many explores he was looking for gold. He looked for gold in in Cibola and Quivira. Although he didn't find any gold on his expedition, he explored and encountered Texas Indians. He set out from Spain in 1540.
