I have been a Physical Education teacher for 25+ years both in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. I graduated from Plymouth State University in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education (Teacher Certification concentration). I then graduated from the University Of New Hampshire in 1996 with a Master of Science degree in Kinesiology (Adapted Physical Education concentration). I absolutely love being a Physical Education teacher!!!
In addition to teaching, I have also conduct workshops through the University Of New Hampshire's continuing education program in topics such as: "Incorporating Math Into Physical Education", "Using iPads & iPods In Physical Education", and "Enhancing Instruction Through Technology In Physical Education". I present workshops at state Physical Education conferences. I enjoy creating my own music and videos to use in class and consider myself a "PE Geek".
In February of 2015 I was selected as the 2015 Elementary P.E. Teacher Of The Year in Massachusetts. It is an honor that I share with my family, students, and other great P.E. professionals that I communicate and collaborate with on X and Voxer.
