How exactly can it be expected the people in poverty go from something (fed aid) to nothing? Where are the programs?
How do we expand access to work opportunities and education?
Should we be looking at the poverty line instead? Does that have to change?
Would we be able to take the money from stimulus checks and turn it into a program like SNAP, but instead of food stamps, for a monthly allowance until your income increases or reaches a certain point?
Where do the impoverished need money the most, what is holding them back?
What is the most effective method to get people out of poverty?
Would implementing a transitional program mean higher taxes or reduced funding from other programs?
How would the program actually work? What would be involved? Is it even a program or a series of programs? Or, something else?
WHAT IS THE MOST EFFECTIVE TACTIC???
Why do we not focus more on this issue? How do you spread the word and get the data?
What effect would giving financial aid or job programs to those who are NOT considered below the poverty line do for the economy and the individual?
Who needs the most help: children -> preventative measures. How can I call attention to the adult and their struggles?
What can I actually do with the resources at my disposal to help? What can I achieve in the allotted time?
