Poetry is rising in popularity again as a means of human expressions. Some of the most influential and successful writer's of the era are poets- Rupi Kaur and Amanda Gorman are both best sellers. In this unit, student will examine forms and structures as well as the poetic tools writer's use to express themselves in this art form. In addition to learning to identify and explain the impact of craft moves, student will develop their own voice through practicing different craft and structure tools.
