This webinar from our partners at the United Way of Southwest Alabama provides a very thorough overview of Marketplace Health Insurance including understanding forms 1095A and 8962.  The second half discusses challenges with Marketplace fraud and helping taxpayers navigate the Marketplace and find a resolution. 

This 30 minute training comes from a portion of a site coordinator training this fall.  Michael Roush of the National Disability institute and a long time VITA volunteer gives helpful advice and tools for respecting and supporting people with disabilities at our tax sites.

This recorded training has 2 sections - the first 30 minutes covers interpretation services at tax appointments, then we get into tax preparation and ITIN (Individual Tax ID Numbers) applications.  This training offers tips for working with taxpayers whose primary language is not English, and includes tax law for non-citizens living and working in the US.  You can also use these slides for reference.
