Throughout the week, each year group made delicious treats inspired by books, which where then sold at the
'Bake for Books' sale.
We raised an incredible £365 which is going towards some new additions to our library!

We had a fantastic week celebrating World Book Day!
Starting with Pajama Day, we invited the children back to school in the late afternoon for our own version of bedtime stories. Children were able go from class to class hearing stories read by staff and luckilly we were all already in our PJ's!
Across the school various book related activities took place, our firm favourite was the "The Tiger who came to Tea" party in Reception! They made their own sandwiches and sweet treats and then washed it all down with some tea!
World Book Day wouldn't be the same without the famous dress up and walking the corridors were many Harry Potter characters, a very popular Pineapple, superheroes galore, and quite possibly the cutest Very Hungry caterpillar that we have ever seen.
We were SO impressed with the effort made by not only the children, but the staff as well.
Thank you!
