Birth is a natural, timeless experience for families. A birthing person who has a satisfying birth and postpartum period blossoms with self assurance. For many, it represents a transformative period in their lives, when they become truly empowered. This makes for great parents and happy families. The role of a doula is to support that experience for families - new moms, experienced moms, moms who want unmedicated births, planned c-sections, and everything in between.

Julia Mooney has three major gifts that she brings to her practice. A powerfully grounded and kind presence. An extensive amount of knowledge. And the communication that is clear and trustworthy.
The combination of these three foundations made her a safety net of sanity and well-being in our household of newborn twins.
Often in times of stress, we would anchor into the next Julia visit, knowing that we would get support in all realms and feel restored in our self-confidence. She always had resources and her responsiveness in texting was fast and helpful. I honestly don't know what we would have done without her. Her wisdom, hands, and ease with the babies made everyone feel taken care of and restored faith that we would make it through.
She took care of all of us and it was beautiful and helpful beyond words.
