Jaguar Care Closet 

On our campus, we have a dedicated room offering new and gently used clothes, shoes, under clothes, school supplies, and a few hygiene products for students and families in need. We call this room the Jaguar Care Closet! 

Last school year the closet looked like the picture below. Our team hoped to work on this room, but had limited time to and it was taking longer than we thought to get more racks and clear out some older furniture pieces. 

THIS YEAR...We hope we can really target this space to make it more organized and welcoming! Students who are brought to the room often think its a lost & found area which we really want to change. 

The campus Counseling Team reports that there is an average of 17 students a month that need to utilize the Care Closet so far this year. That's an increase of at least 7 students a month from last year! Also, there is an upcoming project next semester for a clothing and hygiene drive to help fill up the room with more essentials so we really need to prepare the room for it.
