Our district strategic vision focuses on the whole child. When we work to create a successful high school graduate, that graduate leaves with knowledge, skills, and dispositions. It's not enough to KNOW. Students must be able to DO. This flexible learning space expands learning opportunities within our district. We're excited to watch our students learn and grow!

ISTE Standards for Students
Today’s students must be prepared to thrive in a constantly evolving technological landscape. The ISTE Standards for Students are designed to empower student voice and ensure that learning is a student-driven process.
Performance Assessments
Performance assessments, (aka alternative or authentic assessments), are forms of assessment that require students to perform a task rather than select an answer from a ready-made list. For example, a student may be asked to explain historical events, generate scientific hypotheses, solve math problems, converse in a foreign language, or conduct research on an assigned topic. Experienced raters (teachers or other trained staff) then judge the quality of the student's work based on an agreed-upon set of criteria.
Performance assessments require students to actively show what they know.
