Superintendent's Note:

As education has shifted primarily from teacher-centered lecturing to student-focused, multimodal active learning, Juab School District has capitalized on helping students do just that through the opportunities provided through the Juab Innovation Center.  

Students are provided instructional time to develop and navigate learning with hands-on interactive activities focused through our Portrait of a Graduate with the aid and opportunities provided through the Juab Innovation Center and classroom teachers. This is a highly adaptable space that supports our vision for learning. Under the direction of educators, the flexible, hands-on learning space at the Innovation Center helps our students explore learning in engaging and personalized ways. 

The JuabSD Innovation Center allows teachers and students to shift between various circumstances and areas of learning. Students can utilize class time and activities in the center to pursue and employ education that best fits their portrait of a graduate plan and direction.

Not every student wants the same life. Not every student has the same path. Not every student comes with the same tool belt on. But… Every student can learn, develop, grow and succeed! JuabSD supports personalized learning on the path to success; flexible learning spaces provide the support they need along their journey. 

More now than ever, we need to look at flexible learning areas. Our JuabSD Innovation Center is a place where education can access a bridge to the outside world and the possibilities of our student's futures in business, the workforce, higher education, and endless dreams. #wearejuab
