Jenkintown High School's library catalog, Follett Destiny, can be accessed here.
MCLINC (http://www.mclinc.org) is the gateway to the libraries of Montgomery County. The collections of the entire county can be searched, and if the book is not available locally it can be requested through the Jenkintown library.
University libraries are the best source for books for academic research. You can search their catalogs, and with permission, often use books on-site. Some suggestions:
Temple University: https://library.temple.edu/
Penn State: https://catalog.libraries.psu.edu/
Arcadia University: https://www.arcadia.edu/academics/landman-library-1/
Access Pennsylvania (https://accesspa.powerlibrary.org) indexes most of the libraries in the state (local, university, school, etc.) Books can be requested through the Jenkintown library.
Gale Databases index magazines, journals and other online sources. No password is needed if searching on the school network. To search ALL of the databases at the same time, click on "Advanced Search" under the search box, and under "Search by Product," select "All Databases." Also select the box for "Full Text Documents" to ensure you get results you can use fully. Gale also works outside our school network, but for searching from home, you need to obtain the password from your teacher.
Numerous resources are available through Montgomery County Library and Pennsylvania subscriptions. Some can be accessed at the Jenkintown library's portal at https://www.jenkintownlibrary.org/elibrary. Additional resources are available through the Abington Library, at https://www.abingtonfreelibrary.org/e-resources, but not all are available to non-Abington residents.
