Music Theory

The following resources are great tools to learn, practice, and develop your knowledge of music theory. Although the lessons are explained at a rather fast pace, these websites allow you to practice your skills indefinitely with a variety of settings to internalize and challenge your brain and your ears. I recommend MusicTheory.net for its quick accessibility, accounts are not needed, and its lack of ads. If you would like a more sophisticated/advanced tool or have any questions, please contact me at FCadiz@jsusd.org.
The video on the left is the first segment in a 23 video series from Yale University. Feel free to experience an Ivy League course as it tackles rudimentary music theory, music history, and much more.
