In an effort to increase opportunities for students post secondary, beginning with the Class of 2023 and onward, Assembly Bill 469 requires all seniors to complete the FAFSA or CADAA, but have the option to opt out if they and their parents choose.
Class of 2024: Make sure you complete the 2024 - 2025 FAFSA/CADAA application! Application opens: December 2023 TBD
Due to the FAFSA Simplification Act, the FAFSA application is going through changes this year and will be opening up later this December. In the meantime, students and families can demo the FAFSA 2024-2025 prototype.
