Leverage Machine Learning Applications to Address Health Disparity, Explore Social Determinants of Health, and Promote Health Equity.
My laboratory has been at the forefront of leveraging machine learning (ML) methodologies to address both health disparities and environmental health issues. Through our ML initiatives, we have conducted research indicating that countries with high consumption of fruits and vegetables exhibit lower incidence and mortality rates of COVID-19. Furthermore, our recent investigations have showcased the remarkable efficacy of ML technology in diagnosing, predicting, categorizing, and even treating breast cancer. The ongoing evolution and integration of ML in medical research and practice hold immense potential to revolutionize our approach to healthcare and public health challenges. My research is centered on utilizing artificial intelligence to address practical challenges in education and healthcare.
