Recently, the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) established a technical committee, TC347, on data-driven agrifood systems. In this session, after an overview of TC347 by the committee chair, members from Asian countries such as Japan, China, Korea and Thailand participating in the committee will report on the initiatives taken in their respective countries.

As the environment surrounding agriculture and food safety changes, R&D of data-driven agriculture and food supply systems is being vigorously pursued. In addition, many AgTech startups have been established to introduce and distribute these systems. In this session, we will invite AgTech startups active in Japan and overseas to introduce their cases and exchange opinions about the future of AgTech through a panel discussion.
