Have kids either create a story or take something you did in class and turn it into a 1950s style radio show complete with multiple actors and sound effects. Do the recording in GarageBand and add sound effects as desired.
Steps:
Use GarageBand on iPads
Hit "+" in top right to create a new project
Above "Recents," you'll see three icons - a "+," four boxes, and a microphone with a plus sign. Click the microphone to create an audio story or podcast.
Click the "Fun" tab a choose a voice for your story, then click "Okay."
Click red record button and record your story.
Click the "Lego blocks" in the top-left to add extra sound tracks.
Click the loop icon in the top right to add music tracks.
When done, click the paper icon in the top left to return to the home screen.
Tap and hold on a project to find the share option.
Choose "Song," and High Quality and then Share (top right)
