Even with COVID restrictions BRiMS had a busy year.
On Friday, March 5th, BRiMS members met with author Marti Dumas. She is local to New Orleans and taught at the school where Ms. Kahn was an elementary librarian. She was a teacher for many years but writes full time now. Read more about that visit here.
BRiMS members began a project to add a quotation to the wall of the library. They voted on the quote, and designed the letters which are made out of pages from old books.

This is the third BRiMS meeting of the year that was held on October 2, 2020. We had to figure out how to make timing work for the meeting. Students eat lunch first, and then come to the library for 30 minutes to talk about books and literature. Several students who are all virtual were at the meeting, also.
