We're looking forward to another fun, exciting, and successful year with the Haynes Academy Band, and we are happy to have you with us!
Here are a few notifications and reminders for you as we being the new school year:
All returning Band students should bring their instruments on their first day of school. We are trying out a slightly different routine for dropping off instruments before school, and this will give us time to set our expectations and goals.
Sixth grade students will be exploring the instruments this week, and we'll have their their instruments worked out soon.
After school practices for Marching Band will begin Tuesday Aug. 19. We'll practice Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons until 5:30 as we prepare for our first ever Marching Festival! Students should have sized for their Dinkles marching shoes at Band Camp. If you missed that opportunity, we'll have more information for you soon on how to order your shoes.
The Haynes Academy Band charges a $30 annual fee, which covers the purchase of music, transportation, etc. This fee has been posted to student accounts. Please contact Mr. Phelan with questions or concerns.
We ask all parents to fill out the Student Information Form on our website, to continue to receive our weekly-ish email newsletters. This will also allow you to include additional email addresses as needed. Thanks!
Our Band Parents were instrumental (no pun intended :) to having a successful Band Camp! Please join them to help provide our students with an outstanding Band experience.
