Thanks to everyone who came out to our Band Parents Meeting Thursday! We shared several great ideas for the second half of the school year, and we are off to a great start in planning our annual Taste and Tunes event! We'll have tons more information (including dates) shortly.
Our Haynesarama performance was GREAT!!! We appreciate everyone who came out to cheer us on. A special THANK YOU goes out to our Jackettes Dance Team for again performing with us! Congratulations to our new Drum Majors, Ian Anderson and Natalie Smith -- we can't wait to see you in action next Fall! Please share pictures or videos of Haynesarama to this folder:

We enjoyed our performance at the Sunrise Assisted Living facility. We got to share our music with the residents, and we of course sounded great. Our students again demonstrated their wonderful personalities as we spent some time visiting with the residents. We appreciate the opportunity to perform for our new neighbors, and we can't wait to see them again soon! (This is a great place for our students to earn service hours, and we encourage them to do so.)
Next weekend three of our best musicians will be performing in Baton Rouge for the Louisiana Music Educators Association Convention! We encourage everyone to head up to support them.
Sunday Nov. 19, 1:30 pm -- Zoe performs with the All State Orchestra (first chair French Horn!)
Sunday Nov. 19, 3:30 pm -- Cooper performs with the All State Jazz Ensemble (first chair Alto Sax!)
Monday Nov. 20, 2:15 pm -- Nischay performs with the All State Concert Band (first chair Clarinet!)
