About me:
My name is Beth Gates. I have lived in the Weston community for the past 18 years. This will be my sixteenth year teaching at Weston High School.
I graduated from the University of Louisiana with a Bachelors of Arts in Elementary Education in 2001 and with a Masters of Arts in Special Education in 2023. I have taught in the state of Louisiana for 21 years, and before that I taught preschool in the state of Ohio for 3 years. I have been a special education teacher for 3 years.
I truly love teaching. The best part of my day is seeing a child’s face light up when he or she “gets it!!”
