Tech Rehearsal

Tech Rehearsal is for students in the 1st grade and older classes.

Our Tech rehearsals are closed rehearsals. Dancers should arrive with one parent or guardian. Other siblings or guests should stay at home for this event.

Dance With Me, Tiny Stars, and Shooting Stars Dancers: You are invited to come to the theatre to become familiar with the space, walk backstage, and watch rehearsals from 5:00 pm-6:30 pm. A JoD team member will be available as a backstage guide.

Tech Rehearsal Dancers Only: Please arrive in dance class attire and bring all shoes and water in a dance bag. Items should be labeled with the student's name to avoid any items being lost/misplaced. Students will wait and change shoes in the auditorium between dances. Once students are done performing, they are free to leave, or they can stay to watch other classes.

No costumes are needed for Tech Rehearsals.

Arrival: 4:15 pm

4:30pm-6:00pm: Classes will Tech in the following order (No teams or Alegria)

Acro 1 (Th), Acro 2, Hip Hop 1, Hip Hop 1/2 (S), Hip Hop 2, Dance Adventures 1 Ballet, Dance Adventures 2 Jazz, Workshop 1 Ballet, Dance Adventures 1 Jazz, Dance Adventures 2 Ballet, Rhythm Tap 1/2, Workshop 1 Jazz, Workshop 2 Ballet, Rhythm Tap 1/2 (T), Musical Theatre 1, Workshop 2 Jazz, Hip Hop 3, Rhythm Tap 3

Dancers can leave once they have finished all their dances, or stay to cheer their friends on!

Arrival: 5:45pm

6:00pm-7:15pm: Classes will Tech in the following order (No teams or Alegria)

Hip Hop 4, Workshop ¾ Ballet, Contemporary Modern/Lyrical ½, Workshop 5 Jazz, Acro 4, Acro 3, Cont/Modern 3-5, Cont/Modern 6/7, Musical Theatre 3-5, Lyrical 6/7, Workshop ¾ Jazz, Workshop 5 Ballet, Musical Theatre 3, Lyrical 3/4, Lyrical 5, Hip Hop 5, Ballet 3-5, Rhythm Tap 4

Dancers can leave once they have finished all their dances, or stay to cheer their friends on!

7:15pm-7:30pm: Production Tech Rehearsal

7:30pm-8:45pm: Classes will Tech in the following order (No teams or Alegria)

-Pointe 2, Pointe 1, Rhythm Tap 5, Adult Beginner Ballet, Ballet 6/7, Adult Intermediate Ballet, Adult Lyrical, Hip Hop 6, Adult Inter/Adv Jazz, Adult Hip Hop, Workshop 6 Ballet, Adult Modern, Workshop 7 Ballet, Adult Musical Theatre, Senior/Teacher Dance, Adult Intermediate Tap, Adult Adv Tap, Workshop 6 Jazz, Adult Beginner Tap, Workshop 7 Jazz
