The Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat Sosial Politik (JPMSP) is a scientific journal managed by the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), University of Jember, under the auspices of the UNEJ Journal House (Rumah Jurnal UNEJ). First published in July 2024, the journal primarily focuses on disseminating the outcomes of community service activities in the fields of social and political sciences. The presence of JPMSP serves as a strategic platform for lecturers, researchers, and students to publish their community engagement work while reinforcing FISIP University of Jember's commitment to encouraging high-quality and impactful scientific publications.

This journal covers a wide range of community service topics relevant to social and political disciplines, including community empowerment, social intervention, political communication, rural development, and social welfare issues. JPMSP is managed by a professional editorial team led by Dr. Djoko Poernomo, M.Si., CIQnR., CSBA., as Editor-in-Chief, supported by editors and operational staff from FISIP University of Jember. Supported by a competent editorial board, the journal is committed to maintaining the academic quality of every published article through a rigorous peer-review process.

Published periodically, JPMSP released various community service results in its first volume, including the optimization of digital marketing to boost independent community economies, social reintegration strategies for Children in Conflict with the Law (ABH), and anti-bullying awareness programs in elementary schools through the ASIQ Learning House (Rumah Belajar ASIQ / RUBIQ) initiative. The journal also welcomes community service articles that integrate the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program as well as thematic Student Community Services (KKN Tematik). As an open-access journal, JPMSP is expected to serve as an information medium and a means to socialize community engagement innovations that deliver tangible benefits to local and national social and political development.
