Services Provided: 

• CASA volunteers look out for the best interests of children in the care of CPS. 

• CASA volunteers are appointed by judges to investigate the child's circumstances and make recommendations as to what should happen to the child - whether it be family reunification, placement with relatives or placed for adoption. 

• CASA insures these children do not get "lost" in the system. 

• CASA coordinates with CPS, attorneys for the children, Children's Advocacy Center, County Attorney's office, and other services and/or agencies the child may need.

Hours:

• Mon – Thur 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

• Fri 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

***Volunteers must complete 30 hours of training, pass a criminal background check and have a clear record with CPS. Volunteers must be 21 years old and commit to 1 - 2 years of service and complete 12 hours of on-going training annually.

• court accompaniment, 

• work with K-9 Advocate and therapy dogs. 

• Youth self-esteem and goal-setting programs.

• 24-hour emergency

Eligibility: Must be referred by law enforcement or Child Protective Services
