Eligibility:
Any person wanting to enter GED preparation classes must not be enrolled in high school or have a diploma.
A Social Security card and Texas I.D. or Driver's License will be needed to enroll.
A 17-year-old must also provide the official withdrawal papers from the last school they attended, as well as a parental statement allowing the person to enroll and attend classes (signed and dated).
A 16-year-old is only allowed to enroll if they are court-mandated to attend GED classes.
They must also provide the withdrawal papers and parental permission statement.
