Ms. Ogzewalla is from West Jordan, Utah where she graduated from West Jordan High School. She then attended Southern Utah University where she graduated with her Bachelors of Music Degree in Music Education.
Before becoming the band director at West Jordan High School, Ms. Ogzewalla taught the woodwinds in the marching band at West Jordan High School. She also taught Band, Orchestra, Choir, and Intro to Popular Music at Summit Academy Charter School at the elementary, middle, and high school levels.
Ms. Ogzewalla has been a performing member of several different groups on many different instruments including the SUU Wind Symphony, the SUU Orchestra, the SUU Athletic Band, the SUU Woodwind Ensemble, the SUU Brass Ensemble, and the Orchestra of Southern Utah. She is currently a member of the West Jordan Community Band and serves on their Musicianship Committee.
Ms. Ogzewalla is passionate about making band the most positive experience possible for students of all skill levels and backgrounds. Seeing students succeed and grow is what drives her to be a teacher. She believes band should always be a safe place for anyone and everyone to express themselves.
Ms. Ogzewalla loves hiking, drinking coffee, and her cats Remus, Sirius, and Luna! Her favorite color is dark green, she's a sucker for sushi, and she's a big fan of the Legend of Zelda franchise. She collects funko pops and plays Dungeons and Dragons on the side. She is a proud nerd and Emo Rock fanatic.
Emi is from West jordan. She is a fun, free spirit who discovered her love of Color Guard her sophomore year of high school here at West Jordan High! She has been pursuing it ever since. She worked as a tech with Riverton High School as soon as she graduated and spun on independent groups for the winter seasons!
Emi is a cat lover with 3 fur babies: Link, Gannon, and Zora. She loves Legend of Zelda and Animal Crossing and is also a huge fan of Scooby Doo!
Jack is from Albuquerque, New Mexico and has competed in a variety of marching band programs, graduating in 2019. He can play many instruments, but throughout his 12 years of musical growth, he found his passion in percussion. He loves finding new ways to do things and discovering how others learn best to bring out their creative drive. He believes that being a leader is far more effective than being a boss, and hopes to ignite the same everlasting love for music in this seasons performers that he got years ago.
Jack is a dog dad of one and a plant dad of a jungle. He's been a first responder in the Salt Lake Valley for over 4 years and is investing in furthering his education in emergency medicine. If he's seen without caffeine in hand, consider a welfare check and expect the worst.
Jordan Rosen is from South Jordan, Utah and started trumpet in 5th grade. He started in elementary school, continued through middle and high school under directions of Keith Davis (middle) and Brandon Larsen and Raymond Hernandez (High). He is currently attending Snow College for a Bachelor in Commercial Music with an emphasis in education.
During his time in marching band, he had opportunities of musicianship for lead/screamer playing as well as leadership opportunities organizing the behind the scenes as the marching band secretary (2021) and was Senior Drum Major of the ensemble (2022).
Outside of marching band, Jordan is a Jazz and pop musician at heart. He has played several shows in Utah, California, Boston, as well as played on main stages in France, Italy, and the Netherlands.

Ms. Bridgett Johnson has always had a love of music, and in 7th grade she started playing the flute. In 10th grade, she switched to the bassoon in the wind ensemble and baritone in marching band. Ms. Johnson fondly remembers the four years she spent in the Mountain Crest Mustang Marching Band, competing in the largest classification in Utah. During her time there, she had the opportunity to represent the state of Utah in the National Independence Day Parade in Washington DC.
In 2014, Ms. Johnson began her education at the University of Utah. She had many excellent mentors and private teachers, including Dr. Mark Ely, Dr. Jared Rawlings, Dr. Jessica Napoles, Dr. Nicole Robinson, and Lori Wike. She enjoyed performing with many different ensembles, including the Marching Utes, where she was section leader for two years. Additionally, she was funded to research, write, and present a Critical Review of Early Childhood Music Education. In 2018, Ms. Johnson student taught at Riverview Junior High in Murray, Utah with the incredible Mrs. Kathie Webster.
In May of 2018, Ms. Johnson graduated from the University of Utah and accepted her first teaching job at Spanish Fork Junior High School, where she taught Band, Percussion, Guitar, and History of Rock and Roll, and served as assistant director of the SFHS Marching Dons until 2023. This coming year Ms Johnson will start her tenure at West Jordan Middle School where she will teach Band, Percussion and Orchestra.
She is passionate about her career and cares for each of her students. Ms. Johnson strongly believes that music is for everyone and that participating in music can help students develop into critical thinkers, hard workers, and create positive change in their communities.
Bio
Foxx has been doing percussion for 8 years now. They marched with Lehi High School for 3 years, marched with Horizon Percussion for 2 years, and they're currently training to audition for Gold Spike Percussion. They have an affinity for Monster Energy drinks, cats, and they're easily distracted by opossums.
Karelys is from Carolina, Puerto Rico and moved to Utah in 2014. Kare first started color guard her sophomore year at Wasatch High School. She did the 2019 winter season with them and finished out the marching band season with them that same year. Then she moved to Roy High School and did 2 winter seasons and 1 marching season before graduating in 2021. After she graduated high school, Kare auditioned for Gold Spike Winterguard and spun the 2022 and the 2023 seasons with them.
Kare loves Redbull and anything Stitch.
