I started playing the viola in 1998 with an after school program right here in Jordan School District! Playing in my middle school orchestra, chamber quartets, Bingham High Symphony, and serving as librarian for BHS Orchestra Council were the highlights of my teenage years. I continued to play in the University Orchestra and University Strings while studying German Linguistics at Brigham Young University. I took a short break to start my family and returned to playing in 2015 with the Utah Philharmonic. I wanted my own children to have an opportunity to play with others and so I started the Rose Orchestra program in 2021. I fell in love with teaching orchestra and immediately began the process to become a licensed teacher.  I am currently working toward my Masters of Music Education and I am absolutely thrilled to be working for my own neighborhood school. I love making beautiful music with our OHMS Eagles!
