DART LESSONS
Each month, our school's DART representatives have the opportunity to go to a district art training and obtain resources to share with their colleagues. Here's a fun lesson plan called "Pass the Witch's Broomstick" Vitor Bispo brought back to share with everyone.

NATIONAL HISPANIC HERITAGE MONTH
This holiday is celebrated until Friday, October 15th. If you haven't celebrated with your class yet, or if you'd like to add a little more, here's a link from the NEA to some resources you might find useful.
On Friday, October 15th, we'll be having two 30-minute assemblies to culminate Hispanic Heritage Month by having Puerto Rican drumming and dancing group Bomba Marilé come perform for the students. Don't feel like you have to come, but if you can fit it into your schedule, it can be a great experience for both you and your students.
TEACHER FEATURE
Each month on this website, we will feature a teacher and his or her use of art integration in the classroom. This is in addition to whatever students are doing in art and music classes. If you would like to be featured, please share your ideas with a member of the Bluffdale Arts Team by the end of the month.
