Our jazz and jazz-influenced music ensemble performs original arrangements of tunes from the Swing Era through today. Singers develop authentic style rooted in the original culture through an aural-oral learning process and required listening. Admission is by invitation based on audition and/or participation in other ensembles, as well as potential as a jazz performer. No previous jazz experience required. Open to both music majors and non-majors.

The USF Chamber Singers performs a wide variety of advanced concert music spanning a wide variety of historical periods and cultures. Serving as ambassadors for USF and the School of Music, this ensemble demands the highest level of skill and commitment from its members. While the ensemble serves a core ensemble for voice majors, membership is open to any registered student by audition.
NEW! St. Pete Campus-Community Gospel Choir

Chorus returns to USF St. Petersburg! Join us one night a week for joyful singing and community. Rehearsals begin the first week of classes and culminate in two performances at the end of the semester. All are welcome- USF students, faculty and staff alike. No audition or permit required. Presented in collaboration with Pinellas County Schools Performing Arts.

Bands represent a wide range of popular music styles: Hip-hop, neo-soul, pop, R&B, rock, roots/Americana, singer-songwriter, soul/funk... there is space for everyone and anyone to do what they love.
