Robotics

Robotics is a competitive club at the Academies at JHS. We also partner with Craighead County 4-H. Students spend 5-7 hours per week on average planning, designing, building, programming and documenting their work. We compete in the VEX EDR robotics league. The season is year round, with the new game being announced every April. Our first competition will be near the end of November. The 2016-2017 season marked our second year of the club. We were able to take four teams to the US Open robotics competition in Council Bluffs Iowa, where we were very competitive. Going into our third season, we look to do even better.

This year's game is called "Turning Point". We look forward to the challenge.
