About Mr. Cook

I was born in Searcy at White County Regional Medical Center. I graduated from Hoxie High School, the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR) for my undergrad and participated in the Arkansas Fellows Masters Program for my Masters in Ed. Leadership through the University of Arkansas. I have worked for an Archeology firm, as a trainer and consultant for Pre-K, as a director of a medicaid facility, and have been teaching for the last 6 years. I am excited and proud to teach at the Academies at JHS! I have always had a love of science and math, and my teaching style reflects that. I am a high energy teacher, and it is that energy and passion that I wish to share with the students here at Jonesboro. I am married with two beautiful daughters. I love the outdoors. I love to travel. I am a huge college football fan!

Though I am not an Engineer, I took many engineering classes in college, scored high on the aptitude test to be able to teach your students, and have received extensive training for each of the Engineering courses I teach. The Project Lead the Way curriculum is among the best in the nation, and I look forward to growing the Engineering Program here at Jonesboro.
