At The Academies at Jonesboro High School, students must earn 23 credit hours to graduate. 

These credits include: 

• 4 credits in English

• 4 credits in Mathematics

• 3 credits in Science

• 3 credits in Social Studies

• 0.5 credits in Oral Communication

• 0.5 credits in Physical Education

• 0.5 credits in Health & Safety

• 0.5 credits in Fine Arts

• 6 credits of “Career Focus” for students to tailor toward pathways and electives that prepare them for post‐high school career or education

Also required are passing the Arkansas Civics Exam, completing a computer science course for credit, and hands‐on CPR training.
