I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology (Pre-Professional Studies) from Arkansas State University and later received my Master's degree in Biology from ASU as well. After working in the classroom for several years, I returned to the classroom myself and received my Specialists Degree in Building Administration. I am certified in 7-12 Life/Earth Science, 7-12 Physical/Earth Science, High School Computer Science, 8 different PLTW courses, and K-12 Building Administration. Before taking on the role of the PLTW Engineering teacher here at JHS, I taught Engineering and Computer Science Courses through PLTW at Annie Camp Junior High School.
In my spare time, I love to spend time with my family and 2 kids, our dogs Bella and Maverick, and our 2 cats, Lucy and Max. I love music and even participated in the music program at Arkansas State University while in college. In addition to music, I love reading, going to the movies, and traveling as much as possible.
