The AC School Counseling program aims to support each student's individual success.  That comes in many different tiers of support.  We work with students individually, in small groups, and in whole group.  The program is also designed to partner with teachers, administrators, parents, and the community.  In addition, we aim to provide students with career and social/emotional support needed to be successful in school and in life! 

Examples of Ways We Support AC Students:

• Work with students to improve academic performance and study skills

• Connect students in need with food, clothes, school supplies & other services

• Support students through the transition from Elementary to Junior high and Junior high to High school 

• Work with students on social / emotional skills such as conflict-resolution and bullying prevention 

• Support students through the registration and course selection process 

• Provide students with enlist, enrollment, and/or career information to help plan their future success 

• Provide notices about available community and state programs for College & Career Readiness
