Dear Swift Creek Families,

I hope you and your families are doing well. It has been a strong start to the school year, and we are grateful for the partnership we continue to see from home. I wanted to take a moment to share a few updates and let you know about a couple of things happening in the days ahead.

Last week we held our Pep Rally, and the energy across campus was excellent. Students and staff came together with a lot of spirit, and it was a great reminder of the positive culture we are building. We have posted photos from the event in the Snack Peak section of our Google Site so you can take a look at some of the highlights. We hope you enjoy seeing the students having fun.

Quarter 1 ends tomorrow, Friday, October 16. Please take a few minutes to check PowerSchool or connect with your child’s teachers if you have any questions about how the first nine weeks have gone. We appreciate the support you give students as they settle into routines and expectations.

Monday, October 19 is a student holiday, so there will be no school that day. We hope families enjoy the long weekend.

Looking a little further ahead, we are excited to offer a Student Movie Night on Thursday, October 23. We will be showing Hocus Pocus right after school. Supervision will be provided for the event. Students who attend must be picked up by 5:15 p.m., and pickup will take place in the back bus lot area by the gym. Please make arrangements in advance if your child plans to stay so we can keep dismissal running smoothly for everyone.

Thank you for the trust you place in us and for the ways you support your students at home. We are looking forward to a productive and positive rest of the year together.

Sincerely,
Swift Creek Admin
