Ashley Jara

Hello,

My name is Ashley Jara, and I am a third year Pioneer at Innovation Academy. When I was younger I had a fixed mindset, meaning that if I made a mistake, I would automatically give up. Now with the "I CAN" mindset, I look at failure like a new learning opportunity. I know I can make a difference in the world if I put my mind to it, and that's the message I am trying to spread. I believe anyone can change the world to become a better place!

Alex Wolfe

Hi,

My name is Alex Wolfe and I attend Innovation Academy in the 8th Grade. I've been through a lot in my life from knee disorders and hydrocephalus. I don't like to talk about the struggles in my life, but overcoming these situations has humbled me. I am proud to have this opportunity to experience other cultures and eliminate stereotypes put on Italy and all other countries. I live by the Yes Theory, and you should too!

Sarah Beth Williamson

Hey!

My name is Sarah Beth and I am a third year Pioneer. I am very excited for this opportunity and can not wait to share all of my experiences with you. This opportunity will open up my curiosity for other cultures and will help me see the difference between the USA and Italy. Thank you!

Daisy Perales- Olaldes

Hi!

My name is Daisy. I am an 8th Grader at Innovation Academy and I aspire to help others truly make a change in the world. I believe this because I want to be in a world where no one has to worry about where their next meal is coming from or have to worry about having clean water.

John Hall

My name is John Hall and I'm an 8th grader at Innovation Academy. I have been put down by adults many times and that is the reason I am excited to go to Italy. I'm looking forward to showing them that what they put me down for gave me an opportunity of a lifetime.
