FOOTBALL

Football is a sport that should be played by lots of people around the world, energetic, young, passionate, competitive. You need to be energetic because if you stop In the middle of the field you will get tackled or called out and probably get kicked off the team. Being young is probably the best spot in life to learn how to play football so when you get older you can be in the NFL. If you're gonna be in the NFL you're gonna need to be really competitive so you can tackle people and get tds to win.

Maddie Skinner

Maddie Skinner is a 23 year old 6’2” volleyball player. She plays for the Texas Longhorns and she is in her 3 year of collage. In the NCAA championship against the Wisconsin Badgers she got 18 kills, 6 aces, and .688 hitting percentage. In that game she led her team to victory by winning 3-1. She can travel across the court to hit and she travels 21 feet. She can dig all the way from the benches and still make the play there’s . She’s an amazing player with 3 NCAA championships. One for each year of collage.  She has gotten 547 kills ranked 7th nationally, also leading the team with 46 aces. 

Lebron James

Lebron James is one of the best players in the nba. A lot of people even say he is the G.O.A.T (Greatest of all time) of basketball. Lebron James was born on December 30th, 1984, in Akron Ohio. Lebron James went to St. Vincent-St. Mary highschool. In high school he was good. He was one of the top prospects in the NBA draft. He was one of the 41 basketball players to skip college and get drafted to the NBA out of highschool. Going into the NBA draft he was drafted at the first pick overall to the Cleveland Cavaliers. His first season in Cleveland was great and won 2003 rookie of the year. With the cavs he went to one championship but lost 4-0 in series to the spurs. Also, he won the 2009 and 2010 MVP with the cavs, 2 all star MVPs, 4 All-NBA first teams, and All-Rookie first team. Later on in his Career he was traded to the Miami Heat. He won 2 championships with the Miami Heat, 2 mvps, 2 final mvps, and four All-NBA 1st teams. Later in his career he was traded back to the cavs, which he won, one championship and one finals MVP. Then in 2018 he was traded to the Los Angeles lakers where he won one finals and one family’s mvp, and best of all won the all time record for most points in a NBA career. He broke Kareem Adul-Jabbar record at 38,387 points. He also is the only player to play with his son in the NBA. Bronny James, (Lebron James’ son) was drafted to the lakers 2024 at the 58th overall pick. People might think that Micheal Jordan is the best NBA player of all time, but a lot of people also think that Lebron James is the greatest of all time. 

    GEORGE KITTLE

George Kittle  was born in Madison,Wisconsin and played college football at Iowa. George Kittle is on the San Francisco 49ers but is currently hurt. In Georges rookie year he had 2 touchdowns 515 yards and 43 receptions. But George is also a really good blocker is he one of the best in the league. Why did kittle go to Iowa? Because he moved from Madison, Wisconsin to Iowa city, Iowa and attended Iowa city west for high school. Kittle got offers from Iowa, navy, Air Force, and Weber state. That is it on one of the best tight end in the NFl.

Tj Hockensons NFL recap

Tj Hockenson, born in Iowa, went to Iowa, but as he is currently cooking with the Vikings let’s see how well he has done overall in his 5th year in the NFL. In his rookie year he took the NFL’s tight end division by storm recording 32 receptions, 367 receiving yards, and 2 touchdowns, his longest reception was 39 yards! Caping the year off as the Lions number one receiver. In 2020 he played amazing doubling his rookie receptions with 67 catches, 723 receiving yards doubling his rookie year, and 6 touchdowns! All of his efforts paid off as he was selected for the 2020 pro bowl. In 2021 though he was having a great year with 61 receptions, 583 yards receiving, and 4 touchdowns, sadly he missed the final 5 games of the regular season due to a thumb injury. And even then he still made it to the pro bowl. In 2022 Tj Hockenson recorded 86 receptions, 914 receiving yards, and 6 touchdowns! But that’s not the biggest part, during the 2022 NFL trade deadline he was traded to the Vikings! In 2023 his first full season with the Vikings he had 95 receptions, 960 receiving yards, and 5 receiving touchdowns. Entering the 2024-2025 season he is currently hurt with a ACl and MCL grade 3 tear. His overall stats are 341 receptions, 3,547 receiving yards, and 23 touchdowns, along with 2 Pro Bowl appearances. This 5 star tight end will be a force when he returns. 

Jenna Hutchins

Jenna Hutchins, a junior from Science Hill High School in Johnson City, Tennessee, ran 15:58.42 at the RunningLane National Cross-Country Championships on November 21 in Huntsville, Alabama, beating  her 268 competitors from across the country. Heading into the race, she wanted to win—entering the record books was a bonus. Race day brought ideal conditions—slightly warmer than most prefer in the high 50s and low 60s, but perfect for Hutchins. Her first mile went off smoothly, with Hutchins coming through in 5:01. She conquered a hill at the start of mile two, opening her stride once she reached the top. As she neared the start of the third mile, 10:16 into the race, she started to hear murmurs from the crowd.

Move without dribbling any time you have the ball and want or move around the court you must dribble if you don’t than the referee will blow the whistle and give the ball to the other team

Ignore your coach always listen to your coach the coach is there to help you get better

If a defensive player is the last to touch the ball before going out of bounds or entering the basket ring from below the shot clock is stopped and the offensive team is awarded the ball

Traveling do not travel. traveling is a violation of the rules of basketball in which a player takes more than a predefined number of steps taking more steps without dribbling the ball than this limit will result in a turnover and possession of the ball for the other team.

Wrestling

You should join wrestling because it’s on of the 3 sports that the schools supports for 7 graders. Also the coaches for wrestling puts you with people in the same weight size as you so it’s fair and it’s one of the fastest growing sport for girls and boys. And  it’s super easy to join so do it what’s keeping you waiting.

Minnesota Vikings

So far in this season the Minnesota Vikings have been going very good with a score of 4 wins and 0 losses.

Ever since the forever absence of Kirk cousins leaving the team and rookie J.J. McCarthy  Season ending injury before he could start, most thought the Vikings were done for. Until Sam Donald signed with the team. This choice of signing Sam is probably one of the best choices the Vikings have ever made. Because of Sam they are currently 4-0 and most definitely will make it to the Super Bowl.

The nfc east is a division that is really competitive and fights a lot.The teams are the eagles,cowboys,commanders,and the giants.The eagles are 2-2 right now with one Super Bowl win there quarter back is Jalen hurts.The cowboys are 2-2 and have 5 Super Bowl wins and there quarter back is dark Prescott.Next are the commanders they are 3-1 and have three Super Bowl wins and there quarterback is unknown.The final team is the giants they are 1-3 and have 4  Super Bowl wins and there quarterback is Daniel jones

the next World Cup is in 2026 the last World Cup was 2022 it was the finals December 18 2022 France vs Argentina Messi scored 2 goals Di Maria scored 1, Mbappe scored 3 it was 120 minutes and still no one scored so it was penalties. France scored 2 in penalties Argentina scored 4 Argentina has won the World Cup, the World Cup only come every 4 years, the World Cup in 2018 winner was France 4-2 against Croatia.
