Now Open - Raising Cane's

by Brynn S.

Raising canes recently opened in Johnston right by interstate 35/80 it is very cool inside and it’s pretty easy to get to its been really busy though because it opened not that long ago the employees are very kind and make sure you have everything you need.that’s just a little bit about raising cans here’s my opinion.

RaisingCanes in my opinion is just ok there fry’s were not that salted and they weren’t crispy. The fries were also soggy. The chicken was very good and nicely seasoned the toast was very good however some people said the food was greasy and I agree because my food was very greasy and  the fry’s weren’t very salted overall i'll give it a 6/10.

Hello mr shultz I have some questions for you

by Braxton H.

Why did you become an pe teacher.

What’s your favorite thing about teaching pe

Why did you chose to teach 6 and 7 grade students

What fun things will we be doing next week in pe.

What classes will be swimming next week.

I wanted to be a PE teacher because my Dad was a PE teacher and I always enjoyed seeing the new activities he would come up with for his classes. Plus, staying active has always been a big part of my life. It is something I'm really passionate about and I'm happy I get to share that with others.

My favorite thing about teaching PE is finding an activity that 60 kids can find enjoyment in. It can be challenging to find activities that all students will want to participate in. So, we continue to tweak our curriculum throughout the year to help get the most engagement we can out of our students.

I think 6th and 7th grade is the sweet spot for teaching PE. Most of the students have the skills to play all activities and they still enjoy moving around and being silly.

On November 20th and 21st, all classes will be in the pool for a "fun day" before Thanksgiving break. We are going to get out the basketball hoops and a bunch of tubes and floaties to have a great send off into break.
