My Leadership

Accelerated Reading is very important to me. I have had the opportunity to help the teachers by allowing the students time to read a variety of books to read their goals and celebrate their success.

The culture/ climate committee works to create an environment where community members are  invited to the school for a variety of purposes such as reading books to students, assisting with projects or presenting information.

The Highland Christmas Choir is the largest elementary choir in the county. Each year, the choir performs a variety of songs for audiences at the Mountain Arts Center. 

The UNITE program teaches leadership through community service.  The students were involved in several community projects such as the blessing box, letters to veterans and a donation station for our nursing home.
