About Me

Personal Mission Statement: I am committed to offering a variety of enriching resources to help students grow both academically and personally. I aim to create a warm, inclusive, and vibrant library space that inspires exploration, discovery, and a love of reading.

My Family

My family is incredibly important to me. I have been happily married for 36 years, and we have a daughter named Faith. As a family of educators, we are deeply rooted in the culture and climate of the Johnson County School District and Highland Elementary through diverse volunteer opportunities. I am especially excited that Faith will be starting her first year as a teacher at Highland Elementary, where I retired in 2017 and returned to serve for 5 years as a Unite coordinator and then as a librarian.
