My mission is to collaborate with educators and families to support students with speech and language difficulties within the school setting, maximizing their academic and social participation through tailored interventions for each child. Everyone deserves a voice, especially one they are proud of.

I LOVE to use reinforcers in my therapy room.

“Communication Coins” are a reinforcer in Mrs. Blair’s speech room. If someone told you you still had to show up to work but not receive a paycheck, how motivated would you be to perform your best? Often I ask my students to do hard things, so why not get a paycheck for your hard work and cooperation. Mrs. Blair provides the golden communication coins for hard work, being a good helper, good attendance, etc. You can spend your coins or save them in the Blair Bank with your own personal account. Each child has a labeled bag to store their communication coins in the bank or are allowed to spend each session if they choose.

I love to use themes for my sessions to help connect with the kids and what is going on outside of school.

Audiometer

Hearing Screenings for all incoming Pre-K and Kindergarten students; as well as, any RTI referrals.
