In Cashmir Connor's first year of track he has exceeded the limits. Every meet he had a new personal best. His 4x4 team came in first in regionals and qualified for state. Cashmir still has time to improve and grow as a runner.
Marlon Prout is a senior track runner. He runs the 4x1 and is also apart of the school record 4x1 team in 2023.
King Taylor is one of the few seniors that is currently top 50 in the United States. King runs the 400m dash and also the 4x4. King is an indoor state champion and will be competing at the state tournament next week.
Kyron Sumler, a University of Lafayette Track and Field signee, is another senior who has exceeded the limits. Kyron is currently ranked #3 in the World with a high jump height of 7 feet. That height ranks as the best in the state for all classifications this season. He is a 2x indoor state champion with many accolades under his belt. Kyron is a state record holder and a school record holder. Kyron will be competing at the state tournament next week. Check out this Time Picayune article about Kyron's latest achievement.
