Personal experience

John Bennetts shares his own experience of cancer, medical treatment, complementary practices and lifestyle changes.

His experience is individual to him.

No particular practice, approach or combination of approaches described on this website or in associated materials should be understood as responsible for his remission, nor should his outcome be considered a prediction or promise of another person's outcome.

Complementary practices

The Mission to Remission discusses practices including movement, breathing, meditation, Qigong, nutrition and other complementary approaches.

These are discussed as part of John's personal experience and broader approach to participation and wellbeing. They are not presented as treatments or cures for cancer or any other medical condition.

Anyone considering a complementary practice should discuss its suitability with an appropriately qualified healthcare professional, particularly when undergoing medical treatment.

Mentoring

Private mentoring with John Bennetts is intended to help people explore areas such as agency, participation, personal priorities, daily practices and intentional living following a life-changing diagnosis.

Mentoring is not medical care, psychotherapy, counselling or a substitute for professional healthcare.

John does not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe treatments or advise clients to discontinue or alter medical treatment.
