Close your eyes so you can see,
The way the nature is supposed to be.
The sun that arises on a clear blue morning sky,
Fields of roses and soft butterflies.
The birds that soar high in the sky,
Can we imitate them however hard we try?
Snow filled on the mountain tops,
And valleys of greenery that never stops.
Ocean waves and milk white sand,
Animals gazing far away on the land.
White frothy strings of water stirring down,
Don’t misuse them and make nature frown.
Show gratitude towards nature and appreciate it,
Don’t even miss out on a little bit.

My dog is beautiful and furry,
Has hair soft as silk and it’s so curly,
She loves to play and chew my shoes,
Then stroll down to the garden and take a snooze.
She looks around and stares with curious eyes,
When I take her to the park for her walking exercise,
Her favourite snack is dog food, but that’s not the
truth,
She likes to eat chocolate to satisfy her sweet tooth.
There is nobody else like her, she truly is the best,
To cuddle up next to and take a day’s rest.

I wish to thank you not only for the food,
But I want to give the love that every child should
You make us happy when we are in sorrow,
Through the love that is not very narrow
A love that’s thorough.
It's not all about the food that you make,
It’s about the love that you shed,
And the family you have led,
This special day is when a little girl in Surat was born,
Without her we would all cease to exist.
Thank you for binding us together
Like a thread which holds the pearls in a necklace forever.

It’s time to say goodbye to grade eight,
I don’t know if we have ever been up to date.
There have been ups and downs, highs and lows, good and bad.
But, in the end if was a fantastic year that made us all mad.
Let’s grab all our memories and store it in a box,
And give it a name as the best year of all.
Wait, I think there’s something in my eye,
No, it’s just a tear.
We’ve learnt so much through the year.
It all just happened so swiftly that our last day is near.
Next year we all will be shuffled to different divisions,
But my heart will always have your provision.
It’s a blessing to have got to learn so much from our teachers.
That I will always be the memory keeper,
This was one of the best years of my life.
That I will forever cherish by my side.

We did our best, and so did the rest.
There is no doubting it, This show is going to get lit.
We gave it our all and when the night falls
We’ll do it again dancing with our best friends.
Makeup, hairstyles, costumes and more,
We have so many accessories we can open a store.
Jungle book is the name but dancing is our game
Making others enjoy is our aim, we enjoy it too all the same.
Silver, gold and blue are the colours of our costumes.
Fifth A B and C working together in harmony.
Monopoly board games and UNO flip,
We’re not going to let these moments slip.
Songs, games and movies galore, let's see what else is left in store!
OH MY GOD! We get snack boxes too! It’s so good! Tell me you enjoy
it too?
Then the night falls we hurry on down wearing our headgear and
gowns.
Come back up it’s the end of our day that’s the time when we all say:
Goodbye! See you again soon!
By this we mean tomorrow when we return to our beloved school.

Tomorrow was my first day at school
I even went early to bed
I decided I would follow every rule
Oh no! I was late
The teacher was already there
Teaching on the slate
She turned and saw my face filled with despair
My day was going horribly wrong
I thought it couldn’t go worse
I sat with my face sad and long
The next teacher entered when I was just about to curse
The next period was dance
I slipped and fell down
Before I could get another chance
I was already looked down upon
Maths was at ten thirty
And I asked a silly doubt
The sir became really angry
And told me to get out
I heard my mother’s voice
I started smelling cream
The school faded away with the noise
And I realised this was all a dream

My parents are the best people in the world.
My parents help me in my daily studies and they teach me what is right and what is wrong.
They listen to all my problems.
They buy many gifts for me.
We enjoy going for holidays together.
I love my parents.
Nobody can love you like your parents.

Social media is what every teenage stares,
It is something out parents can never bare.
They say "go study and be the change,"
While they sit infront of the T.V and watch stock exchange.
"YEAH, I KNIW WHO SHE IS,
BUT WE'VE NEVER TALKED,"
and probably never will,
Because we have become creatures who do not talk,
Instead we stalk.
Social Media will drive us insane,
The abrupt and constant changes,
Pour like acid rain.
And yet we love it,
Deem it to be best.
If compared to the pre-tech days,
Yech would pass the test.

I am afraid I'll forget you,
Afraid that all my memories of you will vanish.
I am afraid to grow older, because as each your passes there is less and less than I remember.
I don't like to admit this,
But I really miss you,
I don't like to admit this,
But I don't remember how you used to be.
I hate that I can't hear you,
I hate that I can't see you
And I absolutely hate that I miss you.
But I still don't want to forget you,
But I still don't want to let go of the core memories I can never forget.
But I still don't want to stop re-playing our moments again and again in my head.
So, yes. I do want to miss you, if that means I don't forget you.
So yes, I don't want to get over you, if that means you don't vanish from my head.

Our factories have been rising so strong,
there is no way this can go wrong.
We replaced the gruesome greenery,
With all of our mighty machinery.
For our very evolution,
We needed this Industrial Revolution.
This won’t lead to our doom.
I am truly in my prime,
This is Earth’s time.
This race of modern monkey,
With their nests so famously funky.
On this beautiful Earth,
There is an opportunity for rebirth.
The fruitful flowers in bloom.
We were as happy as a lark,
But now, the times are dark.
Our crude compulsive nature,
Has led to a rise to tremendous temperature.
The sea levels are on the rise,
Too much water, everything dies.
Our home is now our tomb.
All of these sudden heat waves,
Have been caused by you foolish knaves.
Despite all of your “pristine” population,
I respect your mighty mitigation.
With the help of your CFCs,
You have created a false breeze.
These are my final words,
So my children, so long, nerds.

A circle looked up with a sigh,
I wonder what fills my inside,
She tested a rule,
They’d taught her in school,
Found it was r-squared times pi….
A circle once said to a square,
“Your angles poke me everywhere!”
Try to be smooth,
It’s the way you should move,
An iron can help you get there……….
A triangle sister once said,
I want a triangular bed!
To build it’s a breeze,
180 degrees,
I’ll paint its 3 vertices red!
A line and a ray over there,
We're lazy! An unlikely pair,
It might make them sore,
But they better move more,
Or get fat like a 4 sided square!
The line and a ray had a spat,
Ray wrestled the line down to the mat!
At least I don’t end!
Screamed line to his friend,
And Ray had no answer for that…..

Numbers -Oh- Numbers
Numbers Oh Numbers you're everywhere,
As soon as I open my eyes you're right there.
I wake up looking at the clock that strikes seven,
Numbers I use to toast my bread in the oven.
Left for school, and I am never late,
Calculation of Distance and speed makes me reach quickly at the gate.
Numbers are still with me while I am in school,
Especially when we share the pizza using Fractions as a tool.
Teachers in my school felicitate the one who stands first,
Students eagerly calculate their Percentage before the school is dispersed.
Forming lines, parallel and even in triangles and squares,
Children wait for their parents tired of sitting all day in chairs.
Every sentence in my rhyme is following a path,
Yes, it comprises things we know and learn in Math.
Math is full of numbers, algebra geometry and trigonometry,
I could just sit puzzling over its Mystery.
Adding and subtracting are for the little Math Fanatics,
Quadratic equations finding values of X and Y, I solve like a Queen of Mathematics.
My love for Math makes me even rhyme,
I hope these verses are worth at least a dime!!!

Maths is full of fun
With so much to learn
Algebra and Geometry helps us all
In building structures like a school or a mall
Maths has made everything possible
To solve every problem that is imaginable
Maths is used to find the height of pillars
Calculate time in years and find the distance covered by winners
To learn volume, area and perimeter of shapes
To understand the world around, maths is all it takes
To appreciate the beauty of those structures - big or small
Symmetry is the tool which always helps us all
In the real world are there any imaginary numbers
With maths we can use them and create some wonders
Just use it in right way
Then it ‘ll start at a point and never end like a ray
Lines can be parallel , polygons can be similar
These can form the basis of a machines that are popular
Profits are to be added , losses to subtract
Maths is definitely important and necessary
So go solve your problems and think logical before you act

She lay on a bed of smoke
A quilt of waste blanketed her
Her head rested on nothing concrete
How could we do this
To whom we were so dear
It is the flame of hope that keeps her alive
We must not blow it
But if she were to breathe her last
Only we humans led to it
We’ve got still a chance
While Mother Earth still lives
Let’s protect from barbaric mankind
She who only gives
I was hungry, I got food
I was thirsty I got water
I was lonely, she had my back
She hugged me as her daughter
My first mother, My mother Earth
Gave me more than I could desire
If I cant cherish her what's my worth?
So I’ll be one she can admire,
