Aayushi Jagad is a former stylist who made the switch to comedy after accidentally getting on stage. She became a comedian and stumbled into a new vocation the same way she stumbles into bad relationships. She discusses her problems, her thoughts and gasps her opinions on stage. It is the true joy of her life to write about herself in the third person for every conference/festival/event. She appeared on Queens of Comedy in 2017, and since has written for several brands because she likes money. She runs a channel called 'Listen Na' where they make sketch comedy videos and she recently started her own podcast, The 'Sun Na' podcast. She's a writer and one day hopes to win a Manikchand sponsored award in absolutely ANY category.
Abhiir is an active youth environmentalist at the national and international level. He has been working in the field of environmental conservation for over 8 years. He represented India on BBC World News in conversation with Mr. Antonio Guterres, the Secretary-General of the United Nations. He was invited by the UK Government and the Ramphal Institute to be a panelist on a conversation around 'Air Pollution in the Commonwealth'. The BBC identified him as one of the foremost emerging youth environmentalists at the international level.
His work focuses on air pollution and waste segregation. As a prominent youth leader, Abhiir is passionate about driving youth climate action. He recently started leading a team of volunteers at Care for Air, an NGO working to combat air pollution in India. Currently, their primary project is to conduct awareness sessions on air pollution with schools, colleges, Residents' Associations and retirement homes.
Aishwarya Dongre is a 2017 batch IPS officer of Kerala cadre. She is currently posted as Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) and has shown impressive leadership during COVID-19 pandemic. Aishwarya was in the news for her impressive effort to make a heart transplant successful amidst COVID-19 induced lock down. She had airlifted a heart and made it land – 207 km away – within 30 minutes.
She is an alumnus of JML belonging to the 2010 batch and then graduated from Xavier's College in 2015. She cleared her UPSC civil service exam in her first attempt at the age of 22.
Ajay is the co-founder of Astrophilia. The organisation's aim is providing the youth of this country with viable, adaptable, and updated access to space science education from an early schooling level through innovative products & learning systems.

Akash Khetwani is working as an Investment Banking Analyst at UBS in Singapore. He is an alumnus of JML batch of 2012. After JML, Akash completed his ISC programme from Jamnabai Narsee School. Following that, Akash moved to Singapore to pursue a degree in Electronic Engineering from Nanyang Technological University. He also received a scholarship from the Singapore government.
In addition to the Engineering degree, he also pursued a minor degree in Business. It was through these business courses that he realized his passion for the financial markets. During his penultimate year, he completed an internship on the trading floor at UBS Bank. At the completion of his internship, he was offered a full-time position at the company. He has just completed two years at the company. Outside of work, Akash is passionate about filmmaking, sports and travelling. He actively plays and follows football, basketball, cricket and squash. During his university years, he got the chance to spend a semester abroad at the University of Wisconsin, Madison and got to travel across North America.

Akshayee Shetty is the co-founder/president of a charitable organisation called Ayathi Trust that ensures financial and livelihood independence to autistic people by tailoring customised cognitive & creative arts centric programs. She is mostly intrigued about breaking the myth that the Autistic cannot be trained to reach their maximum potential. She is passionate about creating more user-friendly and unique solutions, thus, designing specific environments to empower people with Autism in India.
Today, she is the founder and director of Blue Olephant and the Sense Kaleidoscopes both of which aim towards engaging autistic children emotionally, socially and eventually make them employable in various art streams by creating opportunities along with providing a unique solution to the problem of closing the cognitive delays that are rampant in individuals with autism in India.
She is also a TEDx BMSCE Speaker who was awarded the Universal Harmony International Women's Day Award in 2018 and the Lead India Power Women Award in 2021 along with the Rotary Nation Builders Award in 2021.

Eshaan Gandhi currently goes to Rutgers University, New Brunswick where he has an academic scholarship. Rutgers is the "birthplace" of college football and has been around since before the American Independence. After 2 years here, he has narrowed his field of study to computer science and math with a keen interest in probability and combinatorics. He graduated from JML in 2018.
He has been following the footsteps of his mother and is now a teaching assistant for Calculus and Data Structures. He is also a grader. Dr Gayatri Jain is a final year resident in the Department of Anaesthesiology at MGM Medical College, Navi Mumbai. She is and American Heart Association Certified Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Trauma Life Support instructor and provider.
During the pandemic and before, in her career, she has always strived to use her skills and clinical judgement to give her patients a fighting chance to return to their homes and families in health and happiness. She intends to continue the pursuit of this ambition by further specialising in Cardiac anaesthesia.
Global Human Rights Protection Council is an NGO recognized and registered by the Government of India. It was founded on 21 July 2015 by human rights activist Sandeep B. Sharma, who has worked with various human rights organizations for the last 13 years. In the year 2008, he was nominated by the Indian Dalit Sahitya Akademi for the "Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Fellowship Award" for serving the dalit and backward classes. This NGO is working at the national level and has offices in many states of India, it is known as GHRPC (Global Human Rights Protection Council) it deals with cases related to: Incidences of misconduct and dishonor with senior citizens, atrocities against Dalits/Backward Castes, rights related to minorities and death in police torture.
Gourima Babbar is a student at NMIMS school of law studying BBA LLB. She has been an ardent animal lover since a very young age. To put it simply, she has spent the better part of her childhood convincing her parents to let her nurture and house a pet dog, and having gotten that, has changed her life, her perspective & her lifestyle for good.
Her passion, resourcefulness & partnership culminated to form Street Tails during the lockdown & the organisation shot up from there to where it is right now. Other than that, She is an elocutionist & a budding entrepreneur. She loves and enjoys the time she spends performing several pieces in front of an audience of hundreds.
Haneen Farid is a high school graduate from DPS Bangalore North. She wishes to pursue Political Science and then join Politics.
In March 2020, she launched 'Project Arambha' along with Disha Panda, which is a social initiative that aims to educate underprivileged college girls in India and secure their future.
So far, they've raised INR 15 lakh for the education of 44 girls coming from low-income families and have also mentored over 60 girls in job skills.
Iain Sandeep is currently a student in Grade X of our school.
He loves to learn new skills and tries to master them. He is a self taught guitarist at the intermediate level. He also plays chess. He has taken part in several elocution competitions and debates and has secured first place in the MR Pai elocution competiton held at our school. He participated in the World Scholars Cup held at Ecole Mondiale World School in 2020 and his team came 4th overall and second in team debate. Ian strives to not achieve perfection in what i does but to learn something new everytime he attempts that activity.
He believes that failure to him is a very helpful friend which he wouldn't mind crossing paths with occasionally to keep him in check. He has also raised 2.3 lakh rupees with Habitat for Humanity to support migrant workers during the pandemic.
Kabeer Khurana is an Indian director, writer, and editor. He made his debut with the short movie ‘Project Oneness’ in 2015, which won 3 International awards in Venice, Ukraine, and Houston. He made many short films like Ism (2016), Strings (2017), Religion of Dummies (2018), and Karma café (2018). His short films have received more than thirty international selections and eight international awards.
He worked as the assistant director, VFX Supervisor, and an actor in the movie 'T for Taj Mahal’ in 2018. He got his training in acting from The Jeff Goldberg Studio. He received the Best Director award at Southern Shorts Awards in Georgia, the USA, in 2018. He is also the Director of Climb Media, which is a 22-time President's National Award-winning production house. He is also the co-founder of the publishing firm ‘Bombaykala Books’, which was published as the country’s youngest publishing venture in The Hindu. He has been featured as one of five Young Changemakers in the Mumbai supplement of the India Today magazine in 2016.
Kanchi Desai began swimming competitively at the age of 6. Ever since then, she has held records and won gold medals at the national level and has been a part of the Indian team at international platforms such as the Commonwealth Games and the Asian Age Group. During her undergraduate studies in the United States of America, she competed at the NCAA Division 3 Nationals for 4 consecutive years and was a 6-time All American student-athlete. Academia has played an equally important role in her life.
She graduated as a Psychology major from Kenyon College (a private college in Ohio, USA) and she is now pursuing a career in Human Resources/Marketing. Rohan Gajjar graduated from the University of Arkansas. He was ranked no 5 in Asia. He was the Captain for the Tennis team in his University for 3 years.
He played at the Junior Australian Open Grand Slam. He was ranked #6 nationally in United States and in Doubles and #27 in singles. He was also shortlisted for Commonwealth Games in 2010 in India. He also represented Asia in the ITF team to Europe.
An alumnus of JML, Rohan Parekh started his comedy career while in engineering college. He used to write jokes all the time until one day he decided to say them out loud in stage. Once he stepped on stage, there was no looking back. In the very first year of doing stand-up comedy, he won stand-up competitions at multiple college festivals, including the most popular one, Mood Indigo.
He continued his passion for the performing arts while working as a consultant with 'Earnst and Young' and brought corporate humour to his offerings. Currently he is working as a stand-up comic full time and is the founder of Comedian Rhapsody, an organisation which gives young stand-up comics a platform to showcase their talent. He is also a professional magician and pursues that interest as a hobby. His favourite pastime includes playing cards and catching up on the latest Netflix shows.
Rohit Shah is a reluctant marwadi who pays his taxes. He makes jokes about random things that he finds weird, until he looks into a mirror. When he's not doing that, he's hoping he gets his own 'Jaadu' so he too can get some superpowers.

Saloni Lakhia is what one would call a hyphenated professional. She is academically trained in law, psychology and peace and conflict resolution. Her professional engagement ranges from social legal reforms with governments, to youth and women community inclusion projects, to literary editing for first time.
She has been the youngest to report to sitting home ministers of the state, published handbooks simplifying the complex criminal laws while she was still in law school, and has also been one of the youngest South-Asian recipients to an international fellowship to pursue a masters in Tokyo. Dr Swati Dave is a professor of Anaesthesiology at TNMC/BYL Nair Charitable Hospital, Mumbai. She has more than 25 years of experience in clinical as well as academic fields, with special interest in Cardiovascular Anaesthesia. She is an MD teacher under MUHS Nashik university and has trained many students to achieve MD and DA Anaesthesia degrees.
During the pandemic, Nair hospital was converted into a 'Dedicated Covid Hospital' and she was in charge of the Covid ICU, managing patients on the ventilator in addition to executing anaesthesiology services.The complexity of the human body- and the novelty of the new diseases and challenges she faces continue to drive and fascinate her.
