Our theme for this event was mental health . Depression anxiety and stress are issues often overlooked. However, there is a need to talk about it in this day and age.
Mental health or the peace of mind is just as important as physical health. This was further given the limelight with the experince and solutions provided by our speakers.

Passion is the force which motivates us to be better everyday at something we do. Is everyone today following what they love or doing what makes them happy? If you are following you passion, helping others along the way is not an added responsibility. Our two speakers helped us find the passion within ourselves and discover if we are actually trying to chase goals which will make us happier in life.

The two essential components of every successful idea is originality and effective execution. An idea remains only an idea till one doesn’t put in effort to make it happen. There may be numerous hurdles along the journey of gaining succes. However, being committed to the idea keeps one going. A true entrepreneur is not only one who dreams but does. Our two speakers today shared with the audience what they did to make their idea a reality.

“Curiosity is the fuel for discovery,inquiry, and learning." In this event, to satisfy curious thoughts regarding education abroad, we presented a panel discussion with four of our alumni who graduated from renowned universities worldwide. They provided us with answers to a varitey of questions related to culture, academics and cuisine of the respective countries in which they graduated.

We shifted our focus to the rise of comedy in India. Have you ever wondered how stand up comedians come up with jokes or what goes on behind the scenes before they step out on the stage? Do they feel anxious before performing while we hope for a stress relieving show? These four young and talented artists took us on the journey of a comic and shared with us the ups and downs in their careers.

A sportsperson is required to be dedicated, passionate and mentally and physically strong. This is what makes so many of us look up to them as our heroes.
In our session, “Whatever it Takes”, we had a panel discussion with two talented sportspersons about their careers. They gave us interesting accounts of their experiences as sportspersons making it a very motivational and inspiring session.
In this session, our guest speaker, Kabeer Khurana, introduced us to the world of filmmaking that very few get to experience. We were given a better look into what filmmaking looks like behind the camera. He went through the process of making short films beginning from the idea and ending with the final draft of the film. He also showed us the intricacies in the films that he has made. The session was informative and engaging with an array of questions from the audience.
Doctors play an extremely vital role in society. They follow a rigorous path of intensive study programmes, selflessly dedicate their lives to the service of their patients, and are a vital component of society.
We invited 2 doctors as guest speakers for the session. They helped us in understanding the hardships of their career and gave us an insight into their personal struggles as doctors during the COVID-19 pandemic.
This session was held to observe the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. The day falls on 21st march. On this day in 1960, the police in Sharpeville, South Africa, opened fire and killed 69 people at a peaceful demonstration against apartheid. We delved into the topic of racial discrimination, our perceptions of it, the struggle to overcome it and how each one of us can play our part in eliminating it.
Paw-sitive delved into topics ranging from animal welfare to the need for supporting stray animals. Our speakers included representatives from two non-profit organisations- Paws Hunger and The Street Tails. The event was held with the main focus of raising awareness about the disadvantages of adopting exotic breeds and neglegtic indie breeds.
'The Green Scene' focused on various topics like climate change, pollution, sustainability and waste management along with emphasis on how the youth can make an impact on the same. It was the third session in our series dedicated to social issues.
Our speakers for this extraordinary event included Abhiir Bhalla (an internationally emerging youth environmentalist as identified by the BBC) as well as Suraj Gupta (Founder of 'EnvironEarth', a youth-led climate advocacy organisation).
In this session we illuminated some of the admirable work of the youth during the pandemic. Disha Panda and Haneen Farid explained the process of how they helped underpriviledged girls receive education. Sanjana Bhoopati and Akshayee Shetty spoke about their efforts towards raising awareness about the Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Ebrahim Vaasi and Ajay Sapkale are the founders of Astrophilia which was formed through their shared love for space science. In this session they explained to us the aim of their startup and shared with us many enthralling facts about the world beyond our planet.
We also got their opinion on projects such as Blue Origin and what it could mean for the future of space exploration.
