Multebaer - Print Placement & surface

Each design/collage begins with a spark, whether hand-drawn or digitally crafted and comes to life through the precision and versatility of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop and a creative eye and knowledge.

Specializing in vector-based surface design, I create artwork that’s endlessly customizable, easy to recolour, and effortlessly scalable, making it perfect for textiles, home decor, and lifestyle products. Most of the work for collage which is typically pixel is done mostly in Adobe Photoshop. I also work with colour and correction in the final stages in Adobe Photoshop.

I use Adobe Photoshop to work with my pixel based graphics (rastor graphics). Pixels are made up of millions of individual coloured squares called pixels, these pixels form an image. Working in layers I work with each element for detail, quality and colour. Sometimes I may use Adobe Illustrator to make repeating patterns for some collage print placement designs, these are also pixel graphics and not vectors. This design has been produced as fabric for a lampshade.

So, we have looked at pixel based graphics, now on to vector. The Peacock illustration has been created in Adobe Illustrator and is vector based with no pixels in the making of this illustration. All the creative work and elements are individually made digitally, some elements were handdrawn and vectorised. I have also created patterns within patterns. Adobe Photoshop was used to check colour and details and final file type as this illustration was used as a poster.

This print placement which is pixel based has been created as a fabric which I will use for a lampshade. Adobe Illustrator was used to create the repeat pattern.
